STEM Chicas is an 8-week series of STEM-focused classes created for students in grades 3-5 to connect them with role models and hands-on engagements. The program is a partnership between the Center and local Title I elementary schools. Sessions are held at a partnering elementary school on consecutive Fridays after school.

Northern Virginia Science Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates the Children's Science Center Lab at Fair Oaks Mall and STEM programs traveling to schools and other community venues across the region.
