Our campers will embrace science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to build the skills that will serve as their tool set for the future. In our camps, we work together to ignite curiosity and get excited about STEM in our everyday lives. With fun themes, new curriculum each summer, and sessions for all interests- there is something for everyone. Give your child a camp experience that will unlock their potential.
Our week long summer camps explore a unique STEM theme using experiments, games, science challenges, and so much more to engage your young learner. Camps, designed for rising grades 1 to 5, are $395 for a full week* and run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Lab is closed to the public during that time so campers will be able to spread out and enjoy the entire Lab! Give your child a summer camp to remember full of fun and adventure alongside other science loving kids and our fantastic STEM Educators!

Things that saved the International Space Station? Things that, at this very moment, are saving someone’s life? Well, that printer exists, and in this camp you’ll learn all about it- part science, part art, and all fun!. Sponsored by AWS In Communities.Register July 11thRegister August 8th
"Our daughter had an extremely positive experience and as a result, we will be returning. She indicated that this was the best camp that she has attended
(and we have attended numerous camps from around the area). Keep up the excellent work!"
In-person Camp Parent, Summer 2021
“This is by far the best camp in Northern Virginia. Our 7 year-old daughter loved attending as the activities were extremely fun and kept her entertained throughout the week. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming! We will surely be back!”
"We are so impressed and pleased with the Virtual Camps offered by the Children's Science Center. Our 9-year-old daughter attend three weeks of sessions and loved them all. The live video gatherings are extremely well organized and run by the skilled and upbeat team. The CSC has a strong grasp of how to use virtual technology for educational programming, while keeping the kids highly engaged. I was really impressed how quickly they rolled out top notch virtual programming when in-person gatherings shut down. Honestly, this is exactly the pick-me-up experience were looking for during these difficult times and we are grateful to the CSC for meeting the needs of our 3rd grader."
